Odoo Enterprise already reads applicant CVs well — it just charges you In-App Purchase credits to do it, on every CV attached to every applicant. This module keeps the whole experience and replaces only the part that costs money, sending the CV to your own Google Gemini or OpenAI account instead.
Nothing New to Learn
Your recruiters see exactly what they saw yesterday. Every part of Odoo's digitization stays untouched:
- Automatic on attachment — drop a CV on an applicant and it is read, exactly as before.
- The same scanning banner and the same Digitize document button.
- The same setting under Recruitment › Configuration to turn it on or off.
- The same fields filled — name, email and phone.
Only the invoice changes.
And Rather More Besides
- Searchable CVs. The full text of every CV is transcribed onto the attachment, so you can find a candidate by something they wrote three pages in.
- Skills tagged automatically wherever Skills Management is installed.
- Fields Odoo ignores. An optional template fills whatever else you sort candidates by — highest degree, years of experience, LinkedIn URL, notice period — read in the same call, so the CV is billed only once.
- Every read is costed and recorded in the Wagos AI request log, per CV and per user.
Getting Started
Enter your provider API key under Settings › Wagos AI. If you already keep a key in Odoo's own AI settings, it is used automatically and there is nothing further to do.
CVs are personal data. Requests are always sent with retention disabled, so your candidates' documents are never kept for model training — but the decision to send them to a third-party provider at all is yours, which is why this module never installs itself.
