Wagos Dormant Contact Archive

Email blasts create contacts the business never needs to reach again. This module flags those dead-weight contacts and hands them to Odoo's Data Cleaning → Recycle Records review queue, where they are archived (reversible) after a human confirms.

What counts as dormant

A contact is flagged only when it is clearly not a real relationship:

• an individual (not a company) with no child contacts,
• no portal or internal login,
• zero customer / supplier standing and no orders, invoices, opportunities, tasks or meetings,
• and it carries a “retire” signal — it is on a mailing list, its address bounces, or it is blacklisted.

How it works

A nightly scan sets the flag; the built-in Data Cleaning cron then stages flagged contacts for review and notifies the Contact Managers weekly. Approving archives the contact; discarding leaves it alone. Need a grace period? Add a “not modified in N months” condition to the Dormant Blast Contacts rule — one field in the UI.
