Product Last Receipt Cost
What you last paid, when it arrived and when you ordered it
Three columns on the Products list, taken from each product's most recent vendor receipt. Odoo's own Cost column already shows the average (or FIFO or standard) cost; these show the latest purchase next to it.
Columns
- Last Receipt Cost: unit cost the receipt was valued at, including a price corrected on the vendor bill and any landed costs, per the product's unit of measure
- Last Received On: when that receipt was validated
- Last Ordered On: confirmation date of the purchase order behind it
- Only receipts from vendors count; customer returns and inventory adjustments are ignored
- Costs for Inventory Administrators and Purchase users only: Last Receipt Cost and Odoo's Cost column are hidden from everyone else on the Products lists (the dates stay visible)
- Current company only; multi-variant products show the latest receipt of any variant
- Read live, nothing stored: no install-time recompute, no effect on valuation or accounting
Usage
Open Inventory → Products → Products (or Sales / Purchase) in list view. The columns sit next to Cost and can be hidden from the column picker. Because they are computed live, the list cannot be sorted or grouped by them.
